Netflix Has Problems With The Subscription Of Ads
Upon making known the losses of users and other problems on the platform, Netflix revealed a plan with advertisements. In this way, a cheaper subscription was going to be available, but with the disadvantage of seeing commercials. With this plan already available for a couple of months, a new report has indicated that the scope of this option is less than expected. According to Digiday, the Netflix ads option is not complying with what is promised in contracts with companies. This means that the inventory, or the number of visualizations that each announcement has, would be serving almost 80% of what was promised. Given this situation, the platform would be returning the amount of the remaining 20%.
The report mentions that the price per thousand visualizations began at $65 dollars.
Disney +'s, for example, in his plan with ads would be $50. Given this, Netflix has been lowering the price to $55 dollars, a price that continues to place them at the head of the sector. However, everything indicates that this problem with the volume of users will have a downward effect on price negotiations by 2023. Along with this, it has been mentioned that Netflix had contracts for delivery, with which companies would receive only what is generated. Similarly, analysts have mentioned that this is a plan with slow growth, so the numbers could increase throughout the next year. In related issues, Netflix confirms that Henry Cavill will not return to The Witcher. Similarly, Netflix would be creating an AAA game.
