PlayStation Plus subscribers receive a surprising free update of PS5
PlayStation Plus has revealed that you will soon give subscribers the possibility of updating a popular PlayStation game 4 to its version of PlayStation 5 at no cost. Specifically, this game in question turns out to be Final Fantasy VII Remake, which was a free title that arrived at PS Plus earlier this year for PS4. While those who bought Final Fantasy Vii Remake were able to update to the PS5 version of the game at no cost after its launch earlier this summer, Square Enix revealed that those who only possess the title through PS Plus would have to pay for This cross-generation update. Fortunately, that will not be the case anymore.
As of tomorrow, December 22, Square Enix revealed that PlayStation Plus subscribers who own Final Fantasy VII Remake can now get the PS5 version of the game for free. PS plus subscribers who previously exchanged Final Fantasy VII Remake through PlayStation Plus can be updated to the PS5 version of the game, the editor said in the official Twitter account of Final Fantasy. In general, this news pleased several fanatics, although some expressed that they would like this to be something that would have been done before.
In addition to announcing this movement for PlayStation Plus subscribers, Square Enix also revealed that the new DLC Intermission, which allows players to experience Toughie's story in Final Fantasy VII Remake, will also be on sale from tomorrow. The Intermission complement will have a discount of 25% of its normal price and should now be opened to a completely new players' audience thanks to this new free PS5 update. The reason for this is that INTERMISSION is only available through the PS5 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake, which means that those who have only had access to the PS4 version of the game simply have not been able to play it by themselves.
What do you think of this new movement by Square Enix to allow PlayStation Plus subscribers to update their own version of Final Fantasy VII Remake ? Does this decision affect it at all? Let me know in the comments or contact me on Twitter in @ Mooreman12.
